Thanks so much for writing! I'm CCing this message with your comments to
the main folks who have been working diligently on the STARMAN fanfic
online library.
I see that Vicki has already written to you and invited you to this
year's convention in October. I know I'm looking forward to it!
To give you some background on my own involvement in Spotlight Starman,
when STARMAN came on the air, I knew it was just too _good_ to stay on,
and began taping after the first few episodes. I was disappointed when
it was canceled, but I still remembered it for a long time. (I used to
have video tape watching marathons, where I'd watch the episodes over a
period of a couple of weeks or so. Just me and a dish of popcorn!) In
October of 1988, I came across messages about STARMAN on a computer
network, tho they were quite old at the time. Then, in the Spring of
'89, I came across the March issue of STARLOG that carried an article on
Spotlight Starman. I was ecstatic to find other people who loved the
show as much as I did. "I thought I was the only one!" is a common
phrase I used to say, and became aware that other people used to say the
same thing. I've been actively involved in the group since '89.
