Thanks to our Agent Wylie---Patrick Culliton---STARMAN FAMILY-CON has met at the Magic Castle in Hollywood on numerous occasions. We've had music and magic shows especially for our group, and we've held auctions in the basement next to Ed Wynn's piano-bicycle. Well, the Magic Castle will appear on TV this evening (Saturday, September 15). My apologies for the late notice.
Animal Planet cable channel has a series called TANKED, a reality show following a family business that installs extreme fishtanks. Among other projects, they've made tanks looking like, functioning as, or made out of: a bubblegum machine, a skateboard ramp, and a bus. This evening's episode (9 PM Eastern Time) will show them making a Houdini Water Torture aquarium for the Magic Castle. Neil Patrick Harris appears in the ads for the show, as president of the Academy of Magical Arts.
