Gayle, it's so good to reconnect with you! I surely look forward to reading the book. Last evening I was out gardening and heard a barred owl calling from the other side of the lake. I called back to him, and this happened a couple of times. It's such a joyous thing when this happens. I hope/trust he picked up on the joy, as well. Thanks for providing this gift of connection between our various life forms on this planet!

Jill, "talking" (whistling or singing) to birds is one of the things the book talks about! The book started out with the intention of communicating that food isn't the omly thing we have to offer birds, they like the sounds we make as well. But it just kept expanding from there.
I want to direct fellow STARMAN fans to the photo credits. Most of the 125 photos in the book are by me, but a few are rom other (free to use) sources on the web, and see who spots something in the photo credits first.
