Really rushing today, but as of last, broken contact with Jean Laidig [lives very near Jersey Shore] abt 3:30 pm Pacific on TUES, 10/30, she & fam had come thru storm OK but no power/heat/phone. She has parents in their 90s with health issues. Hope to hear from her today after I return from day away. Have not heard from Barb.

We were without power until late last night, but no other damage. A big tree came down. It fell away from the house and didn't cause anything more than having to cut it up to get out of the driveway. My heart and prayers go out to everyone who was affected.. so many people have lost homes and businesses. My daughter's friend had a car totaled when a tree fell on it- but thankfully no one was in the car when it happened.
