I have added a story to the pre-television Starman section of  Archive Of Our Own.  It's there because - well because it predates Starman(TV) by about 15 years. This was written before there was a Starman television program.

This is not something I wrote. It is a story I found on a photo copy I was given years ago. I had no way to contact the author for permission. If the author is located and objects to its posting, I *WILL* take it down.

I thought that now, with us entering the Christmas season, it was an appropriate time to post this.
