Marian,
Yes, please do take the time to post your comments on Fanfiction.net. You can do it either as a registered user or as an anonymous poster - though anonymous allows one to put in a name. If you do it as a registered user, the author can reply to you through the FF.net Private Message system. It takes just minutes to register and you can be as anonymous as you want even as a registered user.
There is a button at the bottom of each story section that opens up the window for a review. Just copy and paste what you've already written here and submit it.
Reviews posted on Fanfiction.net are available for anyone to read so favorable reviews posted there can sway another person to read the story. It can be like a snowball. :) I presume anonymous reviews also show up there - not just in the author's inbox though I've never experimented with them.
And as a shameless plug, since Chuck does it - :) all the time -
I'm in the process of posting all my stories on FF.net as I have some that are not Starman. Note that when reading in FF.net if a story is a crossover, as many of mine are, you have to pick that at the start OR choose to search by author and you get all posted by that person.

Hi all,
As Chuck has mentioned, talking about the flourishing of the Starman fic project, I am one who has been very much enjoying the chance to read all these stories (as my busy work life permits)
I want to take a moment to highly praise Sheeplady46's (Joyce?) saga, "Travels with Starman" ( posted on fanfic.net) I'm only 2 segments into it, but I have only been able to put it down for the most necessary breaks--working and preparing food.
Joyce, I LOVE the thought you have put into your stories! Your series characters are so recognizable, and your new characters so clearly drawn as individual people with their own strengths and challenges; and your locations are so detailed and so informed with your understanding of their geography and history--I felt like I was there.
I also love the flow of your stories: things that happen, do because they need to happen (although I did keep waiting for the guys in the tower, overhearing Paul and Scott talking frankly at the 4th of July carnival, to cause some trouble afterward.)
My editor-fingers itched to take a blue-pencil for some spelling and punctuation and word choices, but I was too busy reading to find out what happened next to these beloved characters to get up and search for one!
And I was very impressed with your knowledge and love of farm life and the politics of farming, and your way of bringing up vital ideas about these--AND with your take on Starman's home world, its character, and morality. I feel that you extrapolated beautifully from the show, and made sense of conflicting messages about Starman's nature given in the episodes you mentioned.
And you brought in so many episodes as perfectly apt flashbacks. I had forgotten so much (not having splurged on series DVDs, I confess) but your mentions triggered much pleasurable remembering!
I don't know how, or if, I can post this in Fanfiction.net as a favorable review, but I'm stating it in the record right here!

Oh, yeah, and I have to do some chores before I can start on part 3, but I really want to start RIGHT NOW!!
