The 2 Fan fiction stories in the 'Travels with Starman' series ( 'Byte of Time' & 'Down to Earth'), by Sheeplady (HowNovel) `that are on "An Archive of our Own" have the same story text. The intros are different (ie headings on title page, sequel to, dedications & etc.) but the story text is the same.

The story starts in Seattle where they find out more info on Jenny, Kelly Simson and another 'link in the chain' by a man by the name of Johnson.

If anybody has the correct version please let me know and please correct it in the Archive
