Well, We got evacuated .... Not once but twice. We are currently in Lakeport in a hotel because the evacuation centers are so crowded and there was not very good accommodations for Vicki's bird, and with my back a cot was not a good idea, so I suggested we get a motel room. So here we are. We have heard word that Vicki's street is in good shape. The fire started in a field behind the houses across the street from her. If anyone has seen the news you my know that the town of Lower Lake did not fare well as several business and residences were destroyed by fire. There have been over 175 homes destroyed between Clearlake, Lower Lake and surrounding areas. I have not received definite word on my house, but some information indicates my neighborhood has not been affected. Will post again when I have more info.

She has been relocated before, but this sounds very serious. We wish her well, but I feel worried.

Hopefully someone has info as I assume she has no access to a computer at this point.
