Hello Everyone,

It's been a while since I last announced some stories on the STARMAN fanfic archive published under the How Novel banner. Travel, family matters and other projects took precedence. Hopefully the break gave you time to catch up on some of the stories you had bookmarked to read. I've been putting up some stories along the way, with Effie's assistance, and many of you have found those, but I waited until now when enough had been posted to make an announcement worthwhile. I was also waiting to use that special dateline, 12/12/12. Cool, huh? So just in time for the Holidays, here's the latest batch.

After being accidentally separated from Scott, Paul is searching the streets of a Colorado town when he assists an elderly woman carry packages. She gives him a tip on where his son might be working. On the long walk there through a blinding snowstorm, Paul encounters a dog caught in a trap. He has to choose whether to leave the dog, or continue on to the next town.
