LOL! It's a slide of mostly solid rock. Everyone is envisioning the wrong kind of event. This isn't going to bury things in tons of mud like just happened in California.
Even if the worst case scenario happened, I wouldn't be in the path of any debris. Nor would I be in danger of flooding since I'm on downstream side from where the river could be blocked.
This is one of the better articles with diagrams. It's also the one quoting Bjornstad (BJ) who is the one geologist who feels it's going to be worse than all the others. Bruce & I have been on field trips with this guy.

I can't find it now, but I watched a video (Or was it a slide show????) the other day that included pictures of the Toppenish Ridge landslide from the air. It was interesting because I've only ever seen it from the ground and from quite a long distance away. The debris field from that slide definitely spread out. The slide is depicted very prominently in the railroad construction mural. That's the one that was being painted the time Bruce, Todd & Joyce were visiting me.
