Halloween Christmas - a nice combination. I like how you had a creative design all planned out for each one and enjoyed your individual descriptions along with the pictures. You guys really go all out with 9 or 10 trees each year. A lot of work, but worth it.

Here are the 9 I have done. There will be one more but Mary is getting some kind of special garland for it and I have to wait to do it.
All the pictures were taken without the lights being on. They seemed to come out better that way.
There's not much to say about the first tree. It's a little guy with half-moon, star, round, and package shaped ornaments.
Two of the pictures aren't of trees but they are decorations in the room with the Game Day tree. The one that's out of focus (DRAT! - I even checked them all) was my idea. After doing Mary's Game Day tree I had all those pom-poms left over. The bars were naked because Mary wasn't using the large wreath on it that usually covers it, so I put up the leftover pom-poms. She bought the banner and tablecloth especially for this room.
The tree next to the fire extinguisher was done with "orphan" ornaments. They are the ones of which we have only one or two of a given color, and they are the weirder colors too. Add in a few white flowers, a couple wooden bluebirds and the tree is our odd child.
On the one we're calling the speeder tree - because it is going to sit on top of a speeder - the redish rail cars are light covers. When the lights are turned on they light up inside these covers.
The skinny tree was a challenge. It's new this year and it is at least 7 feet tall - maybe 8. When I stood on the third rung of the four-foot ladder, at 3 feet off the floor, I couldn't reach the top of it. I picked the big red bow for the top (though I couldn't put it on) because it covered the area at the top where I couldn't reach to put on the white balls. I made it tri-color mostly because we didn't have enough of the white or green to mix up with the red (we have lots), and blue (we have a fair number) to make it evenly multi-colored. I left off the green and did this instead. I originally planned the bead garland to match the ball color, but with almost no red garland, and lots of the blue, I had to mix it up.
The lanterns on that tree are the lights, which are red. This tree sits in the corner where the kids to crafts and it is always decorated with dead toy trains. I decided to do something different with it this year. Mary might not like it and it might have to change. Looking at this picture I see one of the white apples needs to move higher!
Snowman tree is exactly like it was last year. The big white snowballs aren't very visible. I may try to fix this but this tree has already been lifted onto the counter and I don't know if I'll be able to reach it well enough to fix the "disappeared" snowballs. There are a dozen on it.
Mary wanted the red birds on the white tree. Then she said add ornaments. I first tried gold, because I'd used the gold garland, but they disappeared in the white. I next put on red, but it was overpowering with the red birds. I ended up with this. The lights on this tree are multi-colored. There are four birds in nests on it.
The grape tree is tiny. There was about a foot of gold colored, sort of beaded, garland. I couldn't figure out what I was supposed to do with it, so I wrapped it around the top of the tree (below the topper). The topper didn't go down far enough to cover the skinny top of the tree so this was my solution.
This is how I spent my Halloween - and the two weeks before.
