Sadly, a year anniversary does not automatically eliminate the grieving, and the knotted stomach that comes with the loss of someone so deeply loved. Best thoughts on this sad day.

My brother Trent died a year ago today (10/07/2018). It still hurts but it's more like "pangs" and nothing as constant or all-consuming as it was this time last year. I remember thinking then it was a relief that it was finally over for him. It still turns my stomach at how aggressive the cancer was.
