Had a light snow dusting last night to close out 2016. It's been unseasonably cold for weeks and we've had snow twice, both with long periods of cold afterwards.
Given current forecast I'd say bowling is definitely questionable. Likely to be snowing hard in the Gorge.

I got it!
Not much of a happy start to the new year here. Snow snow snow and more snow. We've had more snow this winter than we normally get in two years. The first snowfall on Dec 8 was about 8 inches, then a couple more times with 2-3 inches each the rest of the month.
It was snowing very lightly when I got up about 7:30. It's not stopped for 10 hours - sometimes heavy, sometimes lighter. I'm not sure how deep it is but at least 5 inches - probably more.
Bowling is next Sunday. If I were in Portland today I'd be stuck there for who knows how long. I don't know if I'll make it to bowling. I'll have to see what the forecast is at the end of the week.
