I thought there were some very astute connections made, particularly in the last book, but I'm not the Snape scholar that you are, so it might not yield any new insights for you. Reason I was wondering. FYI, Amazon gives it 4.8 out of 5 stars, with only 4 negative reviews out of 85. Electronic edition is $6.99 instead of $16.99 for the paperback version. You can download the Kindle app for computers for free.

I haven't decided if it's worth the money to buy at full price. Some reviews said the author was grasping to make connections, especially in the later books.

Effie, have you read the Snape book? Wondering if you thought it worth reading, confirmed your feelings, or added new insights. I enjoyed it myself.
