Authorities identify woman shot at Union Gap theater parking lot Posted on March 1, 2013 UNION GAP, Wash. — Authorities have identified the woman shot Thursday night in the Majestic Theatre parking lot as Cynthia Kelley-Munzanreder of Yakima. The 45-year-old woman suffered grievous injuries after being shot in the head and abdomen, according to Interim Union Gap police Chief Greg Cobb. Authorities said the woman is on life support at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital and planning is under way to harvest her organs for donations. Police are treating the shooting as a homicide. The woman was shot in the parking lot after leaving the theater with her husband about 8:20 p.m., according to Cobb. Police are still investigating and have what they are calling people of interest in the case, but have not announced any arrests.
A motive for the shooting remains unclear. “We have some ideas but nothing we are willing to hang our hat on at this time,” Cobb said.
