As a follow-up to the news about a new Chamber director in Toppenish -

The Wi-Fi in the chamber office hasn't worked since sometime before Thanksgiving. The few times I talked to Zach about it he said 'he was working on it'.

Today, less than a week after he sent me the message saying he was out of here - it's working!

I have to wonder, though with no evidence to support it, if my comment to Kae late last month had anything to do with his departure. I was here on a Friday. She came in to tell me she'd received a text from Zach that he'd received a message from Charter that our phones were down. Sure enough, they weren't working. I made a remark in passing that the wi-fi hadn't been working since November. She gave me a look and assuming she was upset with me for sticking my nose in and going over Zach's head to tell her about a problem, I followed up quickly by saying Zach knew about it.

I thought no more about it until now.

The most important thing to me about having the Internet here is I can play the radio on my computer - the Samsung!
