fraudulent credit card charges

This email is for individuals who attended the family con. Marriott had a security breach not too long ago. Today I checked my credit card activity for the card I used at Aloft where we stayed. I had two fraudulent charges on it. Please double check your credit cards for possible fraudulent charges. Hopefully I am the only victim from our group. Liz Turner

Schedule for Family Con

Starman Family Con schedule of events: Friday: attendee arrivals. Traditional Pizza Party on the Patio outside the Tactic room or in consuite (my room) depending on weather / space. Saturday: 8 am: Tactic Room opens for decorating and hanging out. 12 noon: Party begins. 1-2 pm: Food arrives. 3-4 pm: cake 5-6 pm: people can go to dinner or hang out in Tactic room. Sunday: 8 am: Tactic will be open for general hanging out. At noon we begin to gather to go to the California Science Center to see the space shuttle. We should be able to Uber or lift there. If anyone who has a car and wants to take someone with them. That would be great. The Space shuttle is there to tour but we have to make reservations so pm me, email me or comment on this post so I can get a head count as to who wants to go. After we get back from the Science Center we will be back in Tactic for the charity auction. Bring donations prior to the start of the con if possible. We will most likely have something snacking to eat at that time Closing meeting after the auction. Dinner for those who want to go.

STARMAN FAMILY-CON 2018 (SFC’ 18) OCTOBER 12-14, 2018 15th biennial "Family Reunion" of those who created/appreciate STARMAN including: Reunion Party with Cast/Crew/Staff El Segundo, California *** (1 mile south of LAX) *********** 2018 CON FEES: ********************************* We have tried hard to keep pricing low over the years but we do have some pre-convention expenses to meet. For that reason we will try to work with a Graduated scale for the convention fees. If you prepay by July 31. you can lock in the 2016 Convention price. *** $130 per person Through July 31, 2018 *** $140 through August 31, 2018, *** $150 after and at the door. *** $220 for two adult family members (^a couple or a parent with a child 18 yr./older or ^other adult relatives) Through July 15, 2018 *** $230 through August 31, 2018, *** $240 after 8/31/18 and at the door. *** “Teen” 13-17 years (with paying adult): $50 *** Kids 12:& under: FREE Fees may be prorated for those attending only a portion of events, but, since our main expenses involve the Party the following fees will apply: ***Reunion Party Only (All day Saturday): $100 per adult; $170 per family pair; $40 per “Teen” (13-17yrs) Through July 31, 2018 $110 ($50 teen) through August 31, 2018, $120 ($60 teen) after and at the door. Unfortunately there will be no financial aid available through the “In-Your-Pocket” Fund (started by the Hays family in 1993) this year, which allows some people to pay certain expenses at a later date, interest-free (cannot cover hotel or transportation). There are simply no funds to subsidize anyone this year. There are a few people who attended but have not paid for the 2016 convention. Scream Factory - Posts ***John Carpenter’s STARMAN Update*** As many of you recall we announced that we were prepping Mr. Carpenter’s touching sci-fi journey for a future Collector’s Edition. We still are in progress, but do have some early details to share with you today. • Official street date is December 18th for U.S. and Canada territories (Region A) • Release will come with a slipcover (guaranteed for three months after its original release date) • The newly-commissioned artwork pictured comes to us from artist The CRP Group (Firestarter, Rabid, Exorcist II, Drag me to Hell). This art will be front-facing and the reverse side of the wrap will showcase the original theatrical poster art design. • Extras are still underway and will be announced at a later time in Nov. However today we can announce a significant one that is confirmed: An all-new interview with actor Jeff Bridges! Once again National release date is planned for 12/18/18.
